Privacy Policy
Updated 15 September 2026 · version 2026-10-12
This policy explains what Flyte Technologies Inc (“Mutuals”, “we”) collects when you use the Mutuals website and app, why, who sees it, and what you can do about it. By using the service you agree to it. It forms part of the Terms of Service.
1. What we collect
- Account. Your email address, which is your login, and the time and network address from which you accepted the Terms.
- Profile. Name, handle, platforms, audience size as a band, engagement as a band, content categories, collaboration formats, prompt answers, an optional track credit, and your photos.
- Approximate location. Estimated from your IP address when you sign in, stored rounded to about ten kilometres, and used only to place you in a distance band. We never store or show a precise location.
- Activity. Who you passed on, liked, matched with, blocked or reported; your messages; your filters; your spark balance and history; and any terms you and another member record.
- Technical. Device type, browser, operating system, IP address, request logs, and crash reports, as any online service receives.
- Connected platforms. If you connect a platform account in future, we receive what that platform provides under the permissions you grant, typically handle, follower count and basic engagement figures. We never post on your behalf.
2. Why
To run the service: build your deck, show you to other members, make matches, carry your messages, and enforce the Terms. To keep it safe: screen images, act on reports and blocks, and detect abuse. To improve it and to understand how it is used. To meet legal obligations. Where required, our legal basis is performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating a safe service, compliance with law, and your consent where you give it.
3. Who sees it
- Other members see your profile as shown in the service, your distance band, and anything you send them. What they do with it is outside our control.
- Service providers who process data for us: Amazon Web Services (storage, image screening, email delivery) and Vercel (hosting). They may only use it to provide their service to us.
- Payment providers, if you buy something. We do not see your full card details.
- Authorities, where the law requires it, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, property or safety of anyone.
- A successor, if we are acquired or merge, in which case this policy continues to apply.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising.
4. Messages and photos
Messages are stored so both people can read them and so we can act on reports. They are not end-to-end encrypted. Our staff may access messages and photos to investigate reports, enforce the Terms, or as required by law. Uploaded images are screened by an automated system before they are stored. Anything you share with another member can be copied and shared by them; share at your own risk.
5. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures: encryption in transit, encrypted storage, access controls, and sign-in by one-time code rather than a password. No system is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee that unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure will never occur. To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for security incidents outside our reasonable control.
6. Keeping it
We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete your account we delete your profile, photos, matches and messages, except for records we must keep by law, records needed to resolve disputes or enforce our Terms, and copies in backups that expire on their own schedule. Sign-in codes expire within minutes. Rate-limit counters expire within hours.
7. Your rights
You can see and change your profile in the app, and delete your account from Settings, which removes your data as described above. Depending on where you live you may also have rights to access, correct, port, restrict, or object to the use of your personal information, and to complain to a data protection authority. Email ezulqarni3@gmail.com and we will respond within the time the law allows. We will not treat you differently for exercising a right.
California. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA. You may request the categories and specific pieces of information we hold, and deletion, using the address above.
UK and EU. Flyte Technologies Inc is the controller. Data is processed in the United States under standard contractual clauses or an equivalent lawful mechanism. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
8. Cookies
We use only the cookies the service needs to work: one that keeps you signed in and one that remembers you passed the entry gate. No advertising or tracking cookies.
9. Children
Mutuals is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has an account, tell us and we will remove it.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The version date is at the top. If a change is material we will ask you to accept it the next time you use the service.
